Organisation of events

Types

You can now organise private or corporate events at the Historical Museum and Park of the Miramare Castle, as long as they are compatible with the tasks carried out by the Museum, which has to guarantee the availability of the site to the public and the protection and promotion of the collections and assets under its management:

  • Guided tours to the permanent collection or the temporary exhibitions
  • Special openings for free visits
  • Conferences, presentations, seminars, meetings, talks
  • Art, music and theatre performances

Opening hours

At the Historical Museum and Park of the Miramare Castle, you can organise your private events every day, during the opening hours as well as after the closing time.

During the visiting hours, you can organise your activities exclusively in the areas not open to visitors.

After the closing time, you can organise your events in the exhibition rooms as well, upon prior consent regarding timing and procedures.

The duration of your event and its programme must be agreed upon with the museum management at the time of the application submission.

Any extension of the timetable with respect to the programme agreed shall be included in the final cost.

Submission of applications

Applications for the organisation of events at the Historical Museum and Park of the Miramare Castle of Trieste should be submitted by reading the regulation on the concessions, filling and signing the specific  annexed form form, and sending it to the following email address:

specifying the following subject: “Application for the organisation of an event”
